Ben Hogan was an incredibly complex man and this book tries to explain away much of that complexity with overly simplistic explanation. Good!. If you want to read specifically about animals, you can skip to those chapters, or if you are interested in learning about experiments, studies and on-ground research, you can go first to the chapters after the geology. (I hate to say it, but I realize some of this review is my interpolation of Young-Bruehl's book. To put it lightly, I love it. Having started with the Parsons book, I'm a big DIY bitters fan.
