In this provocative book, Fred WLike I said, not great, but I am happy that my money went to something I enjoyed and that others will enjoy as well.I hope, I'll repost and let you know if everyone in my family hated it (I doubt they will).UPDATE:I'm surprised to be the top review! My older sister read this, and she, like many of you, weren't fans! She said that she put it down halfway through. But other than that the book was really. Characters who were neutral are now evil; characters you thought were evil end up being good; characters who seemed pure from the beginning have sudden lapses and do some truly shocking things. The first essay, totally original, and the last totally compelling, but really this entire collection is original and compelling. There are unanswered questions and dying hopes, but there are hints, bit and pieces, that keep the fire going.The suspense in this book had me over the top. It was just a gen ed course for me, but
