There was a correspondingly
large single ocean, called
Panthalassa. Glaciers
continued to cover much of
Gondwanaland, as they had during
the late Carboniferous . This drying
tendency continued through to the
late Permian, along with alternating
warming and cooling periods.. This was the first
time since the late Proterozoic
supercontinent of Rodinia that such
a landmass had formed. The Permian period was named in
1841 by the geologist Murchison
after a tour of Imperial Russia to
include the "vast series of beds of
marls, schists, limestones,
sandstones, and conglomerates" that
overlay the Carboniferous
formations in the eastern part of
thecountry. The body of water
enclosed by the pacman mouth
constituted a smaller sea, the
Tethys , which covered much of
what is now southern and central
Europe.

Climate

As the Permian opened, the Earth
was still in the grip of an ice age, so
the polar regions were covered
with deep layers of ice. The
collision between Laurasia and
Siberia-Kazakhstania and China

end of Permian. Pangea
was shaped sort of like a giant
"Pacman", with the mouth on the
east. At the
same time the tropics were covered
in swampy forests.
Towards the middle of the period
the climate became

The rouge. His pain is still too raw from the neglect and abuse, and I would fear he would conjure up visions of a wonderful man waiting to take him in and love him.. I was impressed with the fact that he was writing about young women going to college in New York City, because frankly this is not something that gets addressed in graphic novels as much as it should.Unfortunately, the years have not been kind. I just happened to be at a meditation retreat (only my second one) and he was running it. I am really enjoying this so far and I want to get a copy to send to my dear SIL as she is an artist but has been in a bit of a slump and I think this would be very inspiring for her. Over the last several years the Reacher canon has been in a downward spiral and this latest entry in the series is plumbing new and disgusting lows, not only in the antagonists, but in protagonist Jack Reacher, too. After reading it, I would give it a thumbs up but not great. Book arrived in great condi
